My Top 3 Ouidad Faves
I was honored to be chosen to try Ouidad’s curl care line through a collaboration with Behind The Chair X Ouidad. I’m pretty picky when it comes to the products I put on my curls and I was pleasantly surprised by what ‘the Curl Experts’ sent over!
My top 3 favorite products are:
1. Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel
The Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel had a great, flexible hold that left my curls feeling hydrated! The more you use the stronger hold you’ll get from the gel which makes it a great gel for all seasons.
Recommended for: curlies, wavies and coilies looking for a flexible hold, volume and definition
Best for: medium to high density, curlies and coilies
Consistency is a lightweight, clear gel.
2. Botanical Boost Curl Energizing & Refreshing Spray
The Botanical Boost Curl Refreshing Spray is fabulous for curlies looking to refresh their hair on days 3,4,5,6! I’m totally prone to those stubborn 2 day curls and this is great for spot treating on medium to high density hair. This could be a great lightweight refresh spray for any low density, fine haired curlies, wavies and coilies. The fragrance is a very fresh aloe vera scent. Not at all bothersome!
Recommended for: curlies, wavies and coilies looking for a lightweight refresh day spray
Best for: all densities, all textures
Consistency is a light, liquidy spray.
3. Curl Quencher Hydrafusion Intense Curl Cream
The Curl Quencher Curl Cream was fantastic for a voluminous wash and go! A little goes a long way and left my curlies feeling soft. I applied the curl cream on damp to wet hair to ensure my hair was still hydrated when dry.
Recommended for: curlies, wavies and coilies looking for a lightweight cream to enhance curl hydration and softness
Best for: medium to high density, curlies and coilies
Consistency is a smooth, white cream.
